This is a public health tragedy: 42.5% of U.S. adults suffer from obesity: one in eleven with severe obesity.
How high do these #s have to be before the "experts" even consider the possibility that the failure is with them and not us? https://t.co/iHzAaTI7lc
“Elevated insulin is a major culprit behind health and weight struggles, even when blood sugar is normal”? Here’s a Sneak Peak (below) from Chapter 3: Insulin: More Than a Blood Sugar Hormone. Pre-Order now! https://t.co/n4dCrVDkzr
Please emphasise whole foods, NOT ultra-processed ‘plant based’ foods. Deceiving the public to consume the latter will lead to a public health disaster
If you want to move your body easily and feel good physically...you have to move your body everyday!
Exercise (being active) is like showering for your insides. Need ideas? Let me know.
@ChrisPalmerMD If people are open to completely changing what and how they eat, it will be sustainable. If they are looking for a quick fix, they will likely go back to the old way they eat...and bye bye sustainability.
@ChrisPalmerMD I have been keto 3 years. I do have high carb days purposely once every 1-2 weeks or on occasion due to parties or other situations. I am in ketosis at least 80% of the time. I love it and doubt that I will ever go back to a high carb life.
Keto changed my life from losing weight through starvation and high stress exercise to enjoying tastier food and staying active because I love it! For that, I can easily give up bread and sugar. I wish more people could see this as a no-brainer.
Most of us know how sugar can jack insulin, leading to all kinds of metabolic dysfunction. But it can also sap our energy making us tired, unmotivated, & gain pounds which can suck the life out of us.😲😫 Just say no to 𝕊𝕌𝔾𝔸ℝ.

Unfortunately, cardiovascular disease is one of the most misdiagnosed and mistreated conditions in medicine. In the below article, I debunk the common myth that eating cholesterol and saturated fat raises cholesterol in our blood.

Great result ! No one drug could match all these improvements in your ‘cardio metabolic’ metrics By going low carb you have reversed the actual cause of your problem We have eaten our way into this epidemic of obesity and T2D Let’s eat our way out again 👍
This is why we need to do more to educate the world on the benefits of low carb diets. The standard guidance is harmful! We are missing opportunities to heal so many people.
What does an endocrinologist do with a patient who has reversed diabetes, put ulcerative colitis into remission and ceased five medications for diabetes, blood pressure and cholesterol? She recommends he resume his old diet (on which he had all these issues), and take a statin.
No ifs or buts. Cholesterol theory's wrong. Explained in columns on Ancel Keys Cholesterol Con published on @CrossFitHealth. Cholesterol and saturated fat were declared guilty without courtesy of trial. Subsequent events proved that star witness for prosecution was untrustworthy
Some good news: Johns Hopkins School of Med researchers report diabetes reversal with an LCHF/keto diet in a community setting. Nice.

It's a vicious addiction disguised as a weight problem. It's hard to wrap our heads around this, but the sooner we realize we've got a major brain rewiring project on our hands, the sooner we'll be free.
This is fun stuff. A neurologist, Dr. Brian Anseeuw treating patients with multiple disorders with a ketogenic diet. He gives us hope for difficult to treat disorders like Parkinsons, seizures, dementia, peripheral neuropathy, and migraines.
You know what amazes me the most about recovery from processed food addiction?
The number of different health problems that just fade away.
Have you experienced this? It's astonishing.
