@action_ap Post residency tip if your specialty is in to shift work - find an attending job that builds this into the schedule. Ie the person who comes on shift after you starts an hour before your shift ends and the pager switches to them then. Not at the END of your shift. Game changer.

After 10 years my federal student loans were forgiven!!!!

Interestingly no notification from mohela 🤔, instead I found out after my credit card credit monitoring service notified me multiple accounts had been closed. Nice surprise!

Just got a message from our preschool - no playground time because of an armed robbery nearby and suspect still at large.

Not the first time they’ve had to send this message.

Classes at Catharine Blaine K-8 are canceled tomorrow, Monday, Feb. 13, due to a small fire that broke out at the school earlier today. Fire damage is limited. Most of the impact is smoke related.

Me, a periop internal medicine doc whenever I nervously and apologetically call a surgeon to tell them I’m worried about them taking a patient to surgery and they say

This $25 more than makes up for Fedloan’s miscalculation of my eligible payments - a 7month and $21k difference in student loan payments I would have made before being eligible for PSLF, if payments were not still deferred.
