Had Johnson not have a mechanical failure at the Homestead, let alone the crash that gave him a bad finish at fall Dega (while Brad was one of the three that wasn’t in the big crash at the end). @STaranto92 I cannot imagine, how Richard and all of RCR is feeling right now. Practically, reliving 2001 all over again with Dale's passing. This is going to hurt for a while, and it's going to take possibly the off season, for when everyone can just...accept it. I'm still in disbelief.

@brettmurphy91 @markmartin Richard did give Braxton a contract, when Kyle signed on with RCR. Essentially giving him a guaranteed NASCAR ride when he gets older and chooses to continue racing.
