@alfkkifine I am pro choice because it is essential for the woman to CHOOSE to grow another human with her body. This is for the benefit of the child, mother, and society
@littlelindsay08 @slutdragon__ @luv1bun You are wrong. Pregnancy weeks are counted from the first day of your last period. So technically women are around “2weeks pregnant” at conception.
@slutdragon__ @luv1bun You are correct. Pregnancy is measured from the first day of your last period. So “3 weeks late” is considered the 7th week of pregnancy. Any woman who has been pregnant would know this. Likely click bait, which I have now contributed to… but maybe someone will learn something
@ThalesOMi@theglassfish13@jk_rowling They are lovely children’s books and I enjoyed them, especially as it got my reluctant 3rd grader hooked on reading. Afterward, you might try Methods of Rationality, a free Harry Potter fanfic. JK created a rich world for us all to enjoy.
@pert2pert@newstart_2024 Exactly. What do you do with the empty space? It’ll change the positioning of your other teeth and could affect your jawline to leave it open. Insert a cadaver tooth? Something else?
@jsm2334@LightOnLiberty Is there information regarding whether or not those losses were due to miscarriage or abortion? 80% is quite high for a miscarriage rate. And while the study only covered a 2 month period, supplemental reporting could have identified issues (or lack of them) for pregnant women.
@halcyon815@ThatOneFFox@Introvert314 If we look back far enough in anyone’s ancestry, we are likely all a product of rape (yikes). In our modern times, many women now have the opportunity to choose whether or not to grow their rapist’s offspring.
@sboutelle21@Common_SenseCO@DrCamiloOrtiz I guess it depends on your definition of harm (and character count limit when you don’t have a check). I lean toward the perspective that my kids are capable (as much as those 50 years ago) and why continue inefficient and gross practices? Toilets are amazing. We should use them.
@KateMack78@DrCamiloOrtiz Very true. Having the ability to be with your baby the majority of the time and being able to watch their cues closely is a luxury today. I was very fortunate to have so much time with them while little. No diapers after 2 years was a bonus!
@AlineTo00631494@DrCamiloOrtiz That’s the perfect time to start, good luck! I found keeping a small potty by the dining table was helpful, since my kids always pooped after eating.
@sboutelle21@Common_SenseCO@DrCamiloOrtiz We travel a lot. Those airplane changing tables barely fit a 1 year old. Plus if the kid can speak in complete sentences, they’re too old to sit in poop (imo).
@KateMack78@DrCamiloOrtiz 15 months is a little late to “start” and poop is usually easier. Recognize the poop face and start communicating when they are an infant with a certain sound. When baby can sit up unassisted, put them on the potty after meals and make the sound. Be patient and casual. It works!
@wonderlandmom@DrCamiloOrtiz “Elimination communication” worked amazing with my 3rd child. I was home with the kids & she had constipation issues, so I had to help her poop as an infant (bicycle legs and such). When she pooped I would sing a little song. Later, I would sing while she sat on the potty. Done!
@jeremyarichter@TheCinesthetic What a supreme wreck. I won’t let my kids watch those terrible movies. Episodes 4-6 will be all they’ll ever know (until they’re ready for disappointment)
