Huge heads-up. OpenAI has now launched a new landing page for ads https://t.co/picweBjNBa which includes a way to sign up, ads documentation, and a video guide h/t @juokaz
I just signed up and OpenAI needs to verify each advertiser (which can take some time they say). Go sign up now. :)

Spice Jam update:
- tightened worm logic
- added brief spawn protection
- synced time-of-day in multiplayer
- improved onboarding around the starting mesa with clearer signs
- fixed shields so they fully block hits entirely of just shielded model
- tweaked the moons and sky presentation
- depositing spice at the sietch bank now restores health and refills poison darts for maula pistol
All this work has finally paid off because just now I found a live player harvesting spice, so I dropped a thumper next to them to summon the worm.
It’s now live on its own domain:

Spice Jam — Dune-inspired action/survival
https://t.co/eWyN6Dr43t
Core loop is in and playable:
Harvest spice → haul it back to the depot → survive increasing worm pressure (and soon other players).
What’s working well:
- Atmospheric day/night desert with proper lighting
- Noise + sign system that actually drives worm threat levels and can trigger worm breach event
- Thumper mechanics: call or distract the worm
- Full weapon sandbox: crysknife, maula pistol, lasgun and holtzman shield.
- Holtzman shield interactions (yes, lasgun + shield = boom)
- Training dummies & NPCs for testing combat
- Worm breach event (the model is first attempt by Opus based on book description who assures me it's accurate)
I'm still tweaking the spice patches. I tried dark blotches with bluish night glow, but they blend with rocks during the day. Currently using high-visibility versions. Open to suggestions on how to make them feel more Dune-like while staying readable day & night!
Spice blow/plume event partially implemented and in progress.

@levelsio@cursor_ai@boltdotnew@heyglif Probably should be harvesting spice, but there are more fun things to do.
Trying to add rocks to the desert that look good and don't clip horribly has been the biggest headache.
1/ Welcome to the Circle $USDC files.
$420M+ in alleged compliance failures since 2022, including fifteen cases of the US-regulated stablecoin issuer taking minimal action against illicit funds.
Ubisoft employees are in mass panic after re-org, stock drop.
My sources are telling me they are DUMPING their employee shares in the company, feeling like it's just going to get much worse.
this from the NYT is the most bad-faith anti-stablecoin argument I've ever seen:
- most "high yield" accounts pay piteously little. Chase pays 0.01%. the national average savings rate is 0.60%
- GENIUS banned stablecoin issuers paying interest directly thanks to the bank lobby
- stablecoins would LOVE to pay interest, and the ones that do (through intermediaries) pay much higher rates. Coinbase pays a base rate of 3.85% on USDC right now.
- if stablecoin issuers WERE allowed to pay interest (directly) they would outcompete the banks handily
- at maturity, most stablecoin issuers will end up paying interest through third parties (is my guess). at this point, the talking point will switch to "stablecoins are causing depository flight and harming the banks, this is unfair".
