Over the weekend, our Westminster Police Explorers competed in the #EXCON2023 Explorer Competition hosted by @lvmpd and @lvmpdexplorers, in Las Vegas. Our Explorers team won 1st Place in the Crime Scene Investigation! Big congratulations to our Explorers for a job well done.

We pause to remember a great young man who was taken from us way too soon. On 8/1/13 Explorer Captain Angel Velasquez, 19, was riding his motorcycle when a drunk driver collided with him at the intersection of Sahara and Van Patten. Angel died later that night. Angel, we miss you
