Please, PLEASE check your bonfire for hedgehogs before you light it! Or better still, only build it on the day. To lots of small animals a nice cosy pile of logs and dry twigs looks like a safe home.
Please feel free to screenshot image and share.

@Mommallamavet We had a fat whippet in practice the other day, looked like a sausage balancing on cocktail sticks; apparently it’s half the size it was 2 years ago. 🥺
Smithy, such a handsome bird, has moved out into the aviary. He’s progressed really well and now that he can feed himself we start the process of becoming a wild bird. He will remain in the aviary until he no longer comes to me and then we will move onto the next stage…
Hedgehogs are in decline and need our help. But lots of other wildlife is in the same situation. So why do the hedgehogs in our gardens get so much attention? Why are hedgehogs important? Here are just a few good reasons. https://t.co/G75v592yrj
This young squab picked up seed for the first time yesterday! He’s also discovered his wings - although can’t get airborne yet. He seems to be enjoying motorhome life before moving into the aviary once he’s feeding himself fully and can fly! #wildlife#pigeon#squab
@fitzpatrickref Absolutely devastating news. So sorry for all of you who classed her as family. Keira will@always be remembered as a beautiful warrior. 🥰
