Spinal motor neurons in dazzling detail. ✨
Each green dot is a spinal motor neuron - crucial but rare cells making up just 1% of neurons in the spinal cord. In diseases like ALS, they are selectively damaged, making them of special interest to neuroscientists. #SciShots
"Seeing how immunotherapy is shaping glioblastoma care at ASCO is letting us know we're on the right path and hopefully making big strides this year at @UF," said UF Health Cancer Institute member Ashley Ghiaseddin, M.D. At #ASCO26, he highlights the encouraging work being done in central nervous system tumors.
