Sitting in my wheelchair in the hospital cafe, a man asks "when you are going to be discharged?" despite the name badge reading "Dr. Blauwet" and stethoscope around my neck.
I reply "I work here."

From Plymouth to Glasgow and Belfast, we have a proud tradition of building some of the best ships in the world. But the @Conservatives are trashing that tradition.
We are calling on the Government to build these new ships at home and create thousands of jobs.
I am a Lib Dem voter but here is the real Jeremy Corbyn - cynical &abit 7/10 on the EU but wanting change from within. Where is he now? #PeoplesVote 👉🏻Jeremy Corbyn speech on staying in EU (02June16) https://t.co/cMQZCYvgfi via @YouTube
Tories fixation with expansion of grammar schools was so unpopular they had to drop it from the Queen’s Speech, so now they're trying to sneak it through the back door. A disgrace at a time when schools, like Wolsingham's Sixth Form, are at breaking point: https://t.co/yTBf5koO2O
The Electoral Commission has effectively declared the 2016 EU referendum void. We must now ask the government what it proposes to do, given this fact, & that it means Brexit is over.
Airbus space contract will move from UK to continent due to Brexit
Work for ground control of new EU satellite navigation system, Galileo, will go to France or Germany if Airbus wins bid
The Aerospace industry accounts for 180,000 jobs in UK all of which will be lost
@RJonesUX ALL schools should be good. Then we wouldn’t need grammars. I absolutely agree as well that your performance at 11 does not necessarily reflect your future performance at all.
True. I know they test at 11 but it also helps that on the whole the behaviour & atmosphere is rarified in a GS. I had a mix of state & private, my kids had the school in the Guardian photo. I am not in favour of GS but am hugely in favour of ££ & teachers for all schools. https://t.co/vJPF6cdb7A
More than 3,000 people are needlessly dying each year in the UK because they cannot afford to heat their homes. We now have the 2nd-worst rate of excess winter deaths in Europe. Theresa May promised "a country that works for everyone", yet her policies continue to cost lives.
You've probably heard about the bonus £50 million that you're coughing up for grammar schools. It turns out nearly 3/4 of them are in Tory seats.
In other news, primary and secondary schools are facing the first real-term cut to their budgets for a generation.
