@OfficialLoganK — curious: are there plans to turn @GoogleAIStudio into a serious builder tool?
I just finished a personal project after a few weeks of using it.
I’ll share detailed feedback separately, but the short version is this:
I needed a surprising amount of willpower to finish — not because I didn’t know what I was doing, but because the product made the process harder than it needed to be.
Right now, AI Studio feels less like a real competitor to Replit or Lovable, and more like a checkbox: “yes, Google also lets you build apps with AI.”
The potential is huge.
The current builder experience is not there yet.
Detailed feedback thread coming.
Lie #4: "Intermittent fasting optimizes your health"
Skipping meals tells your body food is scarce, and a body that thinks it's starving shuts down testosterone, burns muscle, and stops building anything.
Autophagy (the cellular cleanup process people fast for) happens whether you eat or not:
2) Can't ideate parallel ideas of the same screen with different states. Either design or actual features. For example, I can't work on design on how home screen would look like for logged in users with some progress already made
I'm so disappointed in @GoogleAIStudio it's hard to describe. Every single action takes AGES. Feels like it's built to literally overthink every single move instead of saying what it thinks, me approving and proceeding further.
Feels like using an already outdated technology.
1) If, after sharing some ideas, I ask it "What do you think?" it should be a strong enough signal to model to automatically enter planning mode, instead of building stuff which I didn't approve.
@garrytan based on what you said, sounds like you might be a Projector based on human design system.
Suggest you go to https://t.co/YmxDC63jns (it’s free), add your data, screenshot the outcomes, add screenshot to Gemini (works slightly better than ChatGPT from style perspective) and get your insights.
Only ask: let me know if it got you right ;)
