The thing people need to keep in mind is that while Boeing's engineers know the certified envelope and the safety margins, what they don't have is a full-scale flight test of a complete 737 Max flown until it breaks apart.

So the exact speed and duration at which this airplane would have become unrecoverable was always modeled and estimated, and no one really knows at what points the airframe just disintegrates. Boeing is not going to destroy a complete plane and sacrifice a test pilot in flight just to measure a number no airline will ever need.

All this to say that this is the safety factor doing its job.

It turns out that the Omani co-pilot was already a radicalized Islamist when he studied in Australia in 2015-2017 and that Australian intelligence agencies kept a file on him.

Australian counterterrorism authorities are now investigating Hamam al-Hammami, who tried to crash a Tel Aviv-bound flight, amid reports that he visited radical mosques and radical Islamist websites while studying in Melbourne.

Two sources briefed on the investigation said al-Hammami previously studied at a university in Melbourne.

Local reports identify it as RMIT University.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has explicitly linked the attack to Islamist radicalization, saying al-Hammami had undergone "Islamist radical indoctrination" and that investigators had uncovered information pointing to Islamist tendencies.

In a Darwinian sense, a people that loses the will to survive, should be logically subsumed.

High cultures crash and burn under the weight of manufactured ethos of humanist "guilt". This has been promulgated by the enemies of Western civilization, who greedily surmise they can attain the spoils of a race or nation that has fallen into such moral quandary and despair.

If you sap the morale of a people, demoralize them, then the result is that they are psychologically cowed and easily vanquished. THEN, you can ride in, take possession, exercise absolute control, and wrest from them their wealth and privilege, noen of which could be obtained, easily, if at all on your own.

The castration was spiritual, an emasculation of the Will to Be. The result: demoralization and death, a living cancer.
