There’s another term for ‘Techno Optimism’ if you look back through having that view at most points in history, on average:

‘Being Correct.’

There may not have been a single techno optimist in 1880 that could have dreamt up the tech and its effects on quality of life by even 1920. Tech causes massive improvements to our way of life with time… exponentially and consistently.

You can be a techno pessimist. Just remember: cynicism is not an intellectual position.

Amazing what happens when a coach elevates a guy to play to his strengths instead of just pigeon-holing him into what they “think” he is.
