@FarazJaka So example, its late, private game is short. To keep game going you then advertise seats but you cannot turn down any players the rest of the night. Hand selecting from the casino pool is poaching but making the game public should be fine

@FarazJaka My feeling is private means not open to the public. I believe a host should be able to have access to public players with the caveat that at that point the game is no longer private and everyone gets access

@KymLim86 I will side with you if said host comes and doesnt openly invite all players because then it would be poaching. His only reason to approach new players is to fill his game and hence you should get the invite too if a seat opens

@AlecTorelli @HRPokerJT Alan Keating would get abused playing high vpip against great players. His edge is vs players with poor hand reading skills who dont look him up enough on good runouts and pay his overbets off on bad runouts

@AlecTorelli Alec, the only correct answer here is preflop. Any other logic here you wanna share will discredit you entirely. That is unless you are playing vs bad players. Against good players, if you play bad preflop hands and dont understand position preflop you will never win long term

@ASchwartzPoker 2 here is why. The most profitable games are private special invite. Big whales arent playing optimal gto so being the best at exploitative makes the most money off of these players. Also, you cannot be world class at 2 w/o knowing gto extremely well. Playing style 2 gets invites
