I’ve seen MEXC teasing $ICP like marketing language for a while and I would hope that’s it’s legit and not what some people say, which is that it’s very dirty engagement farming. But here’s what I think might be happening:

@dfinity has released cloud engines that support @awscloud , @Google Cloud amongst others. Cloud engines solve some of the big issues that would have stopped major players from building on the IC such as KyC and AML. This combined with MEXCs support for ICP based tech in terms of ck tokens would lead me to hope that they might be a launch customer for cloud engines.
