I am the God who makes a way where there appears to be no way. I am the God who can take a prison testimony and turn it into a testimony of freedom. So prepare your heart-not because everything will happen according to your timetable, but because My timing is greater than your understanding.

Something is shifting. Something is awakening. Something is being released. Something is coming into alignment. The season of merely surviving is giving way to a season of rebuilding, restoring, and becoming who I called you to be. Do not despise the small beginning. Do not abandon the promise because the process has been long. Do not throw away your faith because the answer has not arrived in the form you expected. Keep your oil burning. Keep your heart tender. Keep your eyes on Me.

I've been searching for the right term to describe the phenomenon I see across the developing world but haven't found it yet...

We point to the skyscrapers and luxury malls of the various capital cities as proof of progress in Africa, forgetting that these places are where banks, government institutions, foreign capital, international aid agencies, NGOs, and the wealthiest citizens, are concentrated all in just one small area.

The real test is what happens when you leave that small bubble.

In Japan or much of Western Europe, for example, development and modernity doesn't vanish 10 kilometers out of the capital city. The roads, water, schools, and hospitals continue almost across the country. In much of Africa, on the other hand, the infrastructure drop off is DRASTIC. One minute you're in Acacia Mall and the next minute you're back in the stone age after just a 5 minute drive away from the city centre.

That's why gleaming snapshots such as this photo are so misleading.

A country isn't developed because modernity exists in some small pocket of affluence and wealth in ita capital city. Development is about how widely that modernity is distributed. Africa fails in that regard.

Patriarchy wasn't invented. It was EARNED.

Men didn't sit in a circle one day and say "how do we oppress women?"

They were too busy trying not to let their entire bloodline get WIPED OUT by animals or invaders or bad weather.

Before feminism. Before 9-5s. Before police. Before DoorDash. There was nature, and nature is TRYING TO KILL YOU.

Someone has to kill the bear, the wolves before it kills your baby.

Something has to fight the rival tribe that wants to rape your wife and behead your sons and steal your land.

Something has to lift the boulders, chop the trees, climb the trees, build the wall, dig the trench, stand watch at 3AM in -20 degrees while his family sleeps.

Who? Tell me who does that? Women?

MEN DID IT. Because only men COULD do it.

Patriarchy is not a conspiracy. It is biology meeting survival. Men took the role of the expendable sex because someone HAD to be expendable.

And expendable they were.

The deal was simple and brutal: Women are protected and cherished inside. Men are sacrificed outside.

Women got safety. Men got the grave.

That system built every civilization on earth. Every house you live in, every road you drive on, every freedom you have was paid for by male corpses you will never know the names of.

So when you say "patriarchy oppresses women," what you really mean is "I'm ungrateful that men died so I could live long enough to hate them. If they had given you rights and freedom 400 yeats ago, humanity would have gone extinct.

Women were never oppressed. There was NO oppression. What women call oppression today was just PROTECTION.

Let me break it down for you:

1. VOTING:
Women say "we couldn't vote." But back then, voting was not a right, it was a RESPONSIBILITY. Only people who owned property, paid heavy taxes, held public office, or were drafted to DIE in wars could vote.

100% of the people dying in wars were men. You want to vote to send men to war, while you sit at home safe? Makes zero sense. Voting was linked to the DRAFT. You vote, you go to war. Men understood that.

2. BANKING:
"You needed your husband's signature!" Yes, because by LAW, a woman was LEGALLY PROTECTED from debt. Her husband was the head of household and by law HE was 100% liable for ALL debts she made. If she borrowed and couldn't pay, THEY CAME FOR HIM, not her. Creditors went to jail or lost everything - the husband.

So of course his signature was needed. He is the one who goes to prison if you don't pay.

3. PROPERTY - COVERTURE:
They cry about coverture. Coverture meant when you marry, your property merges under ONE name, the husband's, because there was ONE tax filing per household, not two like today. ONE household, ONE name, ONE tax.

It was not to steal from you. It was because the husband was legally responsible for you. If you got sued, he paid. If you owed taxes, he paid. He took your debts too.

These men had mothers they worshipped and daughters they would die for. They were not oppressing women, they were covering them.

4. CONTROLLING WOMEN'S BODIES:
The biggest lie. Back then there were NO abortion pills, NO condoms that worked, NO diapers, NO formula, NO government money to raise a child alone as a single mother, NO good jobs for women to survive alone.

Who bears the most risk in unprotected sex? THE WOMAN. She gets pregnant for 9 months, she risks death during childbirth, which was very common then.

So what did society do? They made sure women stayed virgins until marriage, and made sure men MARRIED them before sex. That is not oppression, that is PROTECTION from becoming a single mother with 3 kids and no food.

And it WORKED. Single motherhood rate was less than 5%. Marriage rate was 90%. Children grew up with fathers.

Today you have "freedom" - 40% single mothers, fatherless homes, abortions everywhere, and women crying that men don't want them.

There was never oppression. There was a system that understood biology and protected women from the consequences of their own choices.
