Today, @RwandaNGOForum , in partnership with @RBCRwanda and supported by @TheENDFund , convened a Stakeholders’ Validation and Dissemination workshop focused on WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) and Social Behaviour Change (SBC) to interrupt the transmission of Bilharzia and Intestinal Worms by 2027 in @BugeseraDistr and @RuhangoDistrict

The workshop highlighted key findings from a needs assessment, identifying gaps in WASH infrastructure and communities most at risk of Soil-Transmitted Helminths (STH) and Schistosomiasis (SCH) due to poor sanitation. Stakeholders engaged in discussions on IoT-adapted interventions and co-creation strategies with local communities to enhance ownership and commitment to action.

Together, we can foster collaborative efforts to improve hygiene, promote safe sanitation and protect vulnerable communities.
