Golf is blessed with a handicap system that allows any golfer to have fun competing against any other golfer.
It's amazing.
But golf is also cursed with dudes who have never played real sports. They don't appreciate how rare and awesome a system like this is.
Basketball doesn't have this. Football doesn't have this. Baseball doesn't have this.
These losers think it's trivial to game the system, making it easier for them to beat better golfers.
This then compels those better golfers to do the same, because they don't want to lose to a worse golfer.
Again - Because they have never played real sports and don't understand that this happens because competition is hard and sometimes you lose cuz you got beat.
These people are all cheaters with no honor.
They don't appreciate the beauty of golf's handicap system because they have never played real sports.
And to be clear, I don't think not having played sports makes you a loser.
I think cheating makes you a loser.
Especially in a game that is 100% built on honesty and honor.
These people are weak and feckless losers.
Talked to a friend whose a VP of Finance at a PE owned company that is printing $.
They have a Claude subscription and some people use it a little.
He wants to use it way more, but IT has been stonewalling connecting it to anything useful for months.
Paid for some $20k/yr Netsuite connector which is still not setup.
I keep telling him to just ask for read only API keys to connect Claude Code to fetch and work, just not write anything.
IT guys won't do it.
Your competition has IT guys. That is your advantage. lol
