By “manufactured out of thin air” he is referring to a decision that does not change any legal precedent and reaffirms that the Supreme Court was correct 125 years ago.
Seriously. The law has not changed. The Court did nothing but say “yeah, they were right the first time.”
"Manufactured out of thin air"
The 14th Amendment has existed in its current form since 1866. All they "manufactured" was the status quo.
The real problem here is we have a sitting member of Congress arguing that a president should have the right to completely invalidate the Constitution with an executive order.
No two people are more different than Roosevelt and Trump. The former won a Medal of Honor, crushed monopolies, explored the Amazon, and was tougher than nails. The latter is a rapist, draft-dodger, and corrupt Gomorrah-appreciator riddled with insecurity. Piss off with this.
This is straight out of Mein Kampf btw. Its paraphrased and adapted to the modern world of course, but the idea that the Aryan race invented culture/technology and so a Pole or a Slav could never be truly German is the core foundational idea that gave birth to Nazism
If the Administration refuses to release body cam footage of the shooting of Alex Pretti, it is reasonable to assume that it shows he was shot by two United States Border Patrol Agents in cold blood while he was being beaten and kicked in the head by 8 agents and that he never drew his weapon, which he was legally authorized to have, but rather it was pulled from his waistband by an agent and Pretti was shot when he was unarmed.
"I call it the 'Uniparty,' so I'm running as a Republican, appearing at $100/ticket Republican events, and keeping my work for the Kochs on the DL."- Zach Lahn
"Both parties are implicated in the issues that are facing our state." It's been run by the GOP for 10+ years. Come on.
Seriously I just talked about this in an earlier post. They have no policy responses. They just call you an idiot or some variation of that and that's it. They have no coherent responses to anything that is brought up.
The amount of irritation on this app caused by a random actor suggesting “we should care about people that are not like ourselves” is the perfect snapshot of how this country is filled with so many selfish pricks right now
Remember when a kid got years in North Korean prison for stealing a poster and everyone was like “what a terrifying country!” and now Americans are facing years in prison for touching floating paint chips...??
