@MasterJamesofS1 How many homes are there in the UK that are £15M in value or more, and are their owners really going to have their butler bring said leaflet to them?
@RoyalMail I thought first class meant next working day, not 4 days later... Used to get this subscription on Wednesday, recently it's been not turning up or late. Also had a letter dated the 15th arrive today; that's 9 days!
@Pirat_Nation Great, but I don't yet have the opportunity to buy one because they did a lottery, and yet scapper scum are selling them on eBay... It's useless selling them if people the people that want tnem aren't able to buy/use them.
I'm really "enjoying" losing my community note rating stat due to rating notes on PlayStation's posts as "Not Helpful" and the CN going to
"Helpful". I get that people are annoyed, I am too, but a new PHYSICAL controller has nothing to do with Sony's terrible choice about discs.
@HardwareSteam It'll be a lottery again and scalpers will get them while people that actually want them will miss out again. I know that there's only so much Valve can do against such scum, but being an active Steam user that failed to "win" the chance of buying a machine really sucks.
@HardwareSteam Not your fault, but all these things are useless when the product can't be easily obtained. Not Steam's fault either but, again, transparency on when people on the lists are getting theirs would be nice.
@GuyTalksFinance In some places I suspect it wouldn't be legal to work 7 hours without a break. Pretty sure UK employment law requires a minimum of a 30 minute break for a 7 hour shift. Ending your shift early isn't a break.
@JackS14019@HardwareSteam Waitlist is 2027?! Why is that not transparent in the email they sent. Honestly, just knowing a rough idea "We expect your position in the waiting list to be fulfiled in H1 2027" would be sufficient.
@Jenocidal eBay, as the URL at the bottom shows. Many state that they are pre-purchase, so there's nothing a report can do. I just hope no one buys the machine from them, even though I'm livid I didn't get one.
Me, on the waitlist for a Steam Machine and wanting to play games my PC can't run. Scum of the universe selling their machines at 160%+ RRP because lottery they are utter scum. I hope this people make a loss or get banned on Steam. #Valve#SteamMachine
@RinoTheBouncer 90%+ of my PlayStation purchases are physical; and that includes my PS5 (most digital PS5 games I have are the free monthly games). PC games are digitals, but I buy from a variety of stores; Steam is one of 3-4 stores I use (though it's definitely the main store).
@NMR_XR@SrGarrus You're not stuck with Steam as the only option though. Physical is still an option. You can use Epic, GoG, and many other stores; many without DRM. On Playstation you'll have one choice, the PS Store, and you won't even own my game. And don't even get me started on refunds...
@iCrazyTeddy Not really. Refunds suck. Pricing on the PS Store is almost always more than physical, and you can shop around. Physical can have physical extras, digital does not. I can't download an A3 size poster or keychain. Lack of ownership is a huge negative, but it's not the only issue.
