@greta I agree completely. The fever that I am passionate about watching and I’ve been to one of their games is on three or four different networks and apparently the WNBA did this because they wanted to“” please all the networks. In other words, they got a bigger paycheck.

Just drove through Clinton, Iowa, and stopped at @Culvers. After Lara finished taking my order, she looked at my sweatshirt and said, “I’m old enough to know who Walter Payton was.”

I told her, “That’s my dad.”

She freaked out!

Then 17-year-old Ze lost it, too. He told me WP was his favorite football player.

Before our food even came out, I took pictures with everyone. What a special, unexpected moment.

Many people probably don’t know this story related to 9/11:

On August 1, 2001, actor James Woods was on a flight from Boston to Los Angeles when four men in first class made him uneasy enough that he alerted the flight crew. Woods thought their behavior looked less like ordinary travel and more like they were studying the aircraft.

After 9/11, he contacted the FBI and was interviewed about what he had seen. Woods later said he believed the men were connected to the plot, although exactly who all four were has never been firmly established.

What makes his story especially interesting is what the 9/11 Commission later documented.

Mohamed Atta told Ramzi Binalshibh that he, Marwan al-Shehhi and Ziad Jarrah had already taken cross-country surveillance flights before the attacks. They tested whether they could carry box cutters aboard and observed airline procedures.

They even determined that the best time to seize the cockpit was roughly 10-15 minutes after takeoff, because that was when cockpit doors were typically opened for the first time.

So the hijackers didn’t simply buy tickets on September 11 and improvise.

They rehearsed.

They flew the routes.

They studied the aircraft.

They tested security.

They watched cockpit procedures.

And more than a month before the attacks, James Woods apparently saw four men on a Boston-to-Los Angeles flight behaving suspiciously enough that he thought they might be casing the airplane.
