From innovators in Rolla; to the heroes amongst us; to the voices of the people in Jefferson City — it was a great day for listening and learning in the Show Me State.
The people of Missouri will always lead the way.
🎉 Proud of Team SEMO at @SEMOelectric & GoSEMO Fiber on connecting our 10,000th subscriber. We started from ground zero, worked hard, learned a lot, and have invested more than $70 million. We will #keeppushingforward!
Last week, past MCGA Pres Mark Scott sat on a panel for the AgMazing Congressional Staff Tour hosted by the STL Agribusiness Club. The panel provided an updated on river transportation and the importance of a strong farm bill to Congressional staff members.
Farmers tell me ALL THE TIME about the damage the Left’s WOTUS rule could do to our way of life. Yesterday, SCOTUS ruled that @EPA DOESN’T have the authority to put farmers out of business because there’s a puddle on their farm. This is a MAJOR blow to the Washington bureaucracy!
👉 “None of us make it through life alone. Take time to pause and reflect on those who have helped you along the way.” Week 166 of #TheFridayFeature. The quote is from my book of the month for May: “Feeling Grateful” by Kobi Yamada. Be sure to pause. See the flags. Say thanks.
On this day in 1946, Winston Churchill delivered his famous “Iron Curtain” speech at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri. President Truman, who had traveled with Churchill by train the previous day, joined his friend on the platform and warmly received the speech. #MOMason
A few weeks ago we talked about Kenneth’s 30 Days of #Gratitude. Now is the perfect time of year to reflect on those things for which we are grateful. I am grateful for you and the feedback you give me each week. Welcome to Week 152 of #TheFridayFeature.
For more than four years, Kyle Steele and I have encouraged each other online. We had never met in person until this morning on Week 151 of #TheFridayFeature in Cedar Rapids. We both do uplifting videos to encourage others. Kyle’s is called One Minute Wednesday. One take this AM!
Earlier this week, cooperative employees and board members from across the state attended the Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives legislative days to discuss important issues related to the electric utility industry.
I’m incredibly grateful to the @MissouriChamber and @AGEricSchmitt for the opportunity to participate in Leadership Missouri this past year. #LeadMO2022
#TBT My son Stephen was my inspiration to run for office and make a difference.
He’s inspired me to take on the tough fights no matter the odds.
I’ll take that same fighting spirit to the U.S. Senate.
Great day with the Missouri Electric Cooperatives at their annual meeting. As always strong speakers and great information for everyone. Always good to hear from AMEC CEO Caleb Jones & Governor Mike Parsons
Leadership Missouri goes underground! The #LeadMo22 Class toured some of the more than 7 million square feet of industrial space found in Kansas City’s Subtropolis! @HuntMidwest
Looking forward to representing @AGEricSchmitt’s Office during this year’s @MissouriChamber Leadership Missouri Class, along with my incredible colleague @MaddieMcMillian!
