LAFD chose not to drop saltwater even as a last resort to save thousands of burning buildings due to 'environmental concerns', but will drop Red phosphorous which is debatably worse for the environment than saltwater.

@thatsMohrlikeit Additionally, I don’t think this proposal is the silver bullet we’re looking for. For example, it easy to see how this could have negative consequences when it comes to thin from below management strategies to reduce fuels in an effort to protect stands.
