A total of 92 individuals were screened in the thalassemia camp held at H.Dh. Makunudhoo. After reviewing a paper submitted by the Ministry of Health to the cabinet, His Excellency President, Dr. @MMuizzu has approved free bone marrow transplants and expanded services for people with Thalassemia. This includes implementing Thalassemia awareness programs, enhancing testing, and screening of Thalassemia in the Maldives.

A total of 43 specialist consultancies were provided by the Consultant in Pediatrics, Dr. Madhu, and the Consultant in Internal Medicine, Dr. Randhir. The KRH Nursing team conducted inspections and provided recommendations in their field of expertise, while administrative support was also provided.

ހ.ދ ހިރިމަރަދޫ ސިއްހީ މަރުކަޒުގައި ގުދަނަކާއި ގަރާޖެއް ހަދައި، ކަރަންޓް ވިއުގަ 3 ފޭސްއަށް ބަދަލުކޮށް އަދި އެހިނިހެން މަރާމާތުތައް ކުރުމަށް ޕްލަސް ބީ އާއިއެކު 1،499،900 ރުފިޔާއަށް 59 ދުވަސް ތެރޭގައި ނިންމަން ވެވުނު އެއްބަސްވުމަކީ 2008 ވަނަ އަހަރު ސިއްހީ މަރުކަޒު ހުޅުވުން ފަހުން މި ސްކޭލްގައި ކުރެވޭ ފުރަތަމަ މަރާމާތު.

މި މަސައްކަތް ނިމުމުން މަރުކަޒުން ކަރަންޓު ކެނޑުމުގެ މައްސަލަ ހައްލުވެ، އެމްބިއުލާންސް ހިޔާކުރެވޭނެ އިންތިޒާމް ހަމަޖެހި، މިހާރު ލޭބަރ ރޫމް، ހޯލްވޭ، ވޯރޑްގައި ބެހެއްޓިފައިވާ މުދާތައް ރައްކާތެރިގޮތެއްގައި ބެހެއްޓޭނެ އިންތިޒާމު ހަމަޖެހޭނެ. އަދި މީގެ އިތުރުން މަރުކަޒުގެ މޫނުމަތި ރީތިކުރެވި، ރައްޔިތުން ހިދުމަތް ހޯދައި ކައުންޓަރު ޤާއިމްކުރެވިގެންދާނެ. ސަރުކާރުގެ އަމާޒަކީ ކުޑަ ރަށެއް، ބޮޑު ރަށެއް ނުބަލައި އެންމެނަށް އަސާސީ ހިދުމަތްތައް ކަށަވަރުކޮށްދިނުން.

1 ސެޕްޓެމްބަރ 2023 ވަނަ ދުވަހު ކުޅުދުއްފުށި ރީޖަނަލް ހޮސްޕިޓަލުގައި ބްލަޑް ބޭންކުގެ ހިދުމަތް ރަސްމީކޮށް ފެށިގެންދިޔުމާއިއެކު، މި ހޮސްޕިޓަލުން ހިދުމަތް ހޯދާއި ފަރާތްތަކަށް އަދި ވަކިން ހާއްސަކޮށް އިމަރޖެންސީ ހާލަތްތަކުގައި ލޭ ހޯދައި ފަރާތްތަކަށް ލުޔެއް ލިބިގެންދާނެ. ލޭ ރައްކާތެރިގޮތުގައި ބެހެއްޓެނީ ވަކި މުއްދަތެއްގައި ކަމުން، ލޭ ބޭކާރުވިޔަ ނުދިނުމަށް އާންމުކޮށް ބޭނުން ނުޖެހޭ ބައެއް ގްރޫޕްތަކުގެ ސްޓޮކް ދަށްކުރުމާއިއެކު ލޭގެ ރައްކާތެރިކަން ކަށަވަރުކުރުމަކީ މުހިންމުކަމެއް. އަދި ދެމެހެއްޓެނިވި ގޮތެއްގައި އެންމެނަށް މި ހިދުމަތުގެ ފައިދާ ހޯދައިދިނުމަށް ބޭނުންކުރެވޭ ލޭ ރިޕްލޭސްކޮށްދިނުމަކީ ނުހަނު މުހިންމުކަމެއް.

A case of open reduction & internal fixation of the fibula by plate & screws with fixation of the syndesmosis by 2 long partially serrated screws was performed by our team.
This is the first time an internal fixation surgery is carried out at KRH & it was a success.Alhamdulillah
