There will be a risk of strong to severe storms overnight tonight. Storms will develop over the Dakotas this evening and will track to the southeast, moving into northwest Iowa closer to midnight.

This line of storms will continue southeast through parts of Iowa during the very early morning hours of Wednesday, but will be weakening. Damaging wind gusts will be the primary threat.
