🚨 Why do Texans fly the Lone Star flag at the same height as the American flag?

Because Texas wasn’t just another territory, we were the independent Republic of Texas. Our own president, currency, army, and treaties with France & Britain from 1836 to 1845.

We chose to join the United States as an equal, not a colony. That’s why it’s the only state legally allowed to fly our flag that high.

It’s history.
