@SenninSage@PoliticsReid Did they have such an option on your ballot? Some of us have been fighting for such an option for a long time. If New York has it now, please encourage other states to follow their lead.
@nedostup Those of us living in the USA have no option to vote against him either. Run a Twitter search for "voted against Trump" and ask anyone who says they did that HOW they did it. The answer is that they didn't. They voted for someone else. Usually someone else they ALSO didn't want.
@Zanukah@unionsaustralia@MicheleONeilAU People should also have the right to vote against the election of a candidate who cater to the whims of big money donors. We should have the right and the option to cast such a negative vote in any election directly against a candidate we want to prevent getting elected.
@TheRealGarcia01@rvbdrm @valeriemerie2 That's exactly what the plutocrats who buy our elections want you to keep thinking, so that you'll never stand up and fight for the right to vote AGAINST their puppets. So keep believing this is as good as it can get as long as you like. I'll keep fighting to make things better.
Another election season is quickly approaching in the USA and we still only have the option to vote FOR a candidate in each election or not to vote in that election at all. When will we take to the streets in demand of the option to vote AGAINST a candidate?
@EmmaVernon1@BraydonY@GlistenedSparks I wonder who #BernieSanders would have ended up running against. Somebody better than Trump, for sure, if people had been allowed to vote against Trump in the primaries, but I wonder who. Regardless, at least we would have gotten something better than we did get. #Bernie2020
@EmmaVernon1@BraydonY@GlistenedSparks Same here. As much as I'm not happy with what we got, I know we only got it because so many people saw it as the lesser of two evils and voted for a bas option as their only way of saying no to what they saw as a worse option.
@BraydonY@LauraEOlson@GlistenedSparks If I had the option to vote against a candidate in 2016, I'm not sure whether I would have wanted more to vote against Donald Trump or against Hillary Clinton, so I probably still would have ended up writing in Bernie Sanders.
Had fun going on @jimmy_dore's show to talk about Democrats' Neo-McCarthyism, Trump ramping up wars & why the world needs to be analyzed within the context of US Empire https://t.co/1JcSqrat0p
@RoKhanna@jimmy_dore That will lead to a situation world-wide like they have in countries with dictators who are afraid of their citizens learning that things could be better. We so need to fight such efforts. More importantly we need to fight for the option to vote against corrupt politicians.
@jimmy_dore@miserablelib@RonPlacone Our elections are broken. Senator who thinks Trump should get their votes for whatever he wants just because people couldn't vote against his election are not taking responsibility for their jobs. #BalancedBallot
Illuminating research on “journalists” & “experts” who push #Russiagate.
The strategy used by them is described as a “McCarthyite blacklist propped up by mainstream media and Congress.” https://t.co/lBEpLulkQy
@PoliticalAnt@BernieSanders@DrJillStein Jill wasn't even trying to win. From the start and right through to the end she was just in it for the money. Sad, really, because there were things I liked about her, but being all about the money isn't one of them. :( I hope the Green Party nominates Bernie in 2020.
