We have not being able to have social distancing, we have worn PPE everyday all day since July 2020. Our business only works if our clients are in our salons. We pay 20%, full VAT for EVERY service. What can we claim back? Hardly anything!

I’m trying not to be bitter but hospitality have had a huge help with cuts in VAT for over a year and the help out to eat out scheme. The personal care sector? NOTHING. ZERO help. We are close contact, putting ourselves at more risk of getting Covid everyday.
