@USBornNRaised@AshleyGWinter I’m a gay woman and a WOMAN with a penis is more than welcome in any shared bathroom. You do know we go in there to go to toilet, and we don’t look at each others bits, right? Be quiet now please.
@MalesInDisguise This is cruel and disgusting. How can you stop loving someone, your child, the person you probably assured many times you’ll love “no matter what” just because one facet of their life is going to change? They don’t stop being your child ever. Horrific.
@vixmccarthy43@ThanksCancer Also, this. I have Desmoids now and they are worse than the “easy” cancer. Cancer was an easy fix. Desmoids is a lot of sitting around feeling the tumours grow bigger and closer to your heart and being in pain whilst they shrug and say it isn’t technically cancer.
@Staroxvia He could be asexual and simply not realise it, or his clear hatred of women preclude his ability to be vulnerable and in the moment. Either seem like a strong possibility.
@traumateacherUK My quiet sweet boy was overlooked in a class full of “louder” needs, but he was melting down after school and on verge of school refusal because he couldn’t cope with changes, noise, injustice. School can’t see what we see in a class of 30. Trust the parents, and trust the child.
@notleavinglv @1Schoolhouse Visibility is important. Cis people get it every day in every way. Evening the playing field isn’t such a big ask, celebrating what makes us feel joy isn’t a huge deal either. We need to be seen because until we are all free, we should keep fighting.
@ShannonJCurtin Kids can get worries and anxiety just like we do. They are, however, more easily distracted and resilient. A little love and reassurance whilst not matching your child’s anxiety is a good start.
@Melleberg_ @nuh_gonna_lie @dyingvape The problem is that you have projected something onto it without context. You have made the assumption about motivations. For me, the genuine “oh fuck” at the beginning signifies shock and acknowledging how much those pieces meant to him.
@dyingvape People are reading things into this. Take it at its level. I’m so sorry that happened to you is called being sympathetic, perhaps you don’t have the capacity for it?
@chpwdcarrywater @FifeRight14 @m_herbert Why are you best placed to pass judgement on another persons choices? If a straight couple wants a baby they can do that, a gay couple should be allowed the same option. The birth mother is still involved. I really don’t see why you can tell others how to live. So sad.
@AutisticCoach_ Yes but speaking for myself I find it an ADHD search for dopamine rather than any of my autistic traits. ADHD and binge eating disorder are very common bedfellows!
If I went to the GP and lied about having the symptoms of depression and had my family lie for me too, and then the GP went ‘Sounds like you have depression’ and I turned round and went ‘Aha I was lying!’ then that’s you being a bad journalist not them being a bad GP #ADHD
@FifeRight14 @m_herbert A child is far better off growing up with a parent who loved and wanted it than one who, for whatever reason, is not available and present and able to take care of it. Connection and love mean so much more than biology.
@AutisticCoach_ Having this now! Realising that a friend I see every school break has only done so because I organised it, and none of our interactions are led by her. I’m letting it go from now on!
