I argue both sides as to why the U.S. Army is different. Perhaps it is operational environment, message, or something else. #Doctrine #Army #AirForce #Navy @ArmyUPress @ArtofWarScholar @OlmstedScholars @TheRakkasans

[Jonathan C. Nielsen @J_C_Nielsen]

Depuy, Starry, and Thurman were the key personalities that drove the development of Air Land Battle Doctrine in the 1970s - 1980s and the refocus of the force. Who are the personalities that will drive the future of today's army? #USArmy #doctrine @ArmyUPress @ArtofWarScholar

Now is the time to innovate. We cannot afford to lose the first battle. @TheRakkasans @LeaderRakkasan

[Jonathan C. Nielsen @J_C_Nielsen]

Innovation occurs between wars and adaptation takes place during wars.
If we are currently in the 21st century interwar period what do we need to do to improve our innovation efforts? #innovation #GreatPowerCompetition
