@SheffieldType1s@Endo_Gremlin@DiabeticDadUK@drpratikc I am closed loop, although DIY. It is โbetterโ-no doubt. I just relate to it also being more complex. Tougher targets, more to think about and frustrating tech fails. It will get better..๐
@Endo_Gremlin@DiabeticDadUK I totally relate to this! For me, itโs definitely a lot better now in many ways, but yes itโs also a lot at times. It was simpler then. I would probably be suffering from complications if things hadnโt got better though..?
@type1d3 It works for me! Iโve found with libre2 and xDrip (no miaomiao) connection can drop, which is a pain, but Iโm newish to that setup so could be a rare issue. I now make sure phone (thigh pocket) is on the same side as libre (arm) and no probs since ๐ค๐ป
@cathy_fielding @RunComPod@TGCRunning Such an interesting ๐งต! For the past 2 yrs Iโve run fasted with no fuel & 2 halfโs @2h 30. All training was also fasted, and only did this due to diabetes. Iโm just trying to figure out fueling again tho!
@Anniecoops I totally relate to this, it is so hard. Well done on all the progress youโve made. Keep going, 1 or 2 bad days doesnโt undo all the good work, but give yourself time to recover from a tough day as well. โค๏ธ
@stevemorganfdn @DiabetesUK @JDRFUK Such an exciting opportunity right now, thank you so much! This will change the face of T1D, what an exciting time!
@DiabeticDadUK There is definitely no such thing as a stupid question. I think the #T1D community on here is the best for respecting that and those who are brave enough to ask and share how tough it can be.
@type1christine I still do this! It means you donโt have to apply so much effort to draw the insulin so less bubbles! If you put in a bit more air than you plan to draw it will draw itself.
