@Byoussef Who's the person talking about what he'd do if it was up to him?
And who do the people in the video represent? Israelis? Jews? Zionists?
Please, share exactly what you mean.
I love that @_ZachFoster doesn't notice that he's actually justifying the existence of Israel and the necessity to have it created as a haven for Jews. He's blaming Israel for not fulfilling its destiny all the way through, thanks Zach for being a true, honest Zionist ๐๐ผ
Myth: Zionism was all about rescuing Jews facing persecution.
Fact: The Jewish Agency blocked a rescue attempt of >1,000 ultra-orthodox rabbis & their wives & children, because they were "not Zionist." See this History Speaks post and document.
This is consistent with the Jewish Agency's attitude towards "rescue" after the war as well, namely, that the Zionist movement deliberately sought to prolong the suffering of Jewish Holocaust survivors if their rescue meant rescue to a country other than Palestine (source: https://t.co/Jy9YA2ooYh)
The Zionist movement sought to build a Jewish State in Palestine. Everything else was subordinated to that goal.
If rescuing Jews helped secure a Jewish State in Palestine, great. If not, they were not likely to be rescued, and it's just as likely the Zionist movement would have tried to subvert their rescue if it was perceived to run contrary to the goal of establishing a Jewish State in Palestine.
This is a pile of crap, but even if it's true - what value does this fact have in regards to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict?
Most countries started with bad history of their pioneers, who gives a shit about it today and how does it help your pathetic cause?
If you want to shatter the worldview of your average Zionist โ people like @havivrettiggur โ then share with them this video.
They are so thoroughly brainwashed with lies they have meltdowns when confronted w the fact that the Zionist movement did not give a shit about rescuing Jews facing persecution.
Hereโs the article that delves into these issues in much greater depth that the 3-minute video https://t.co/HsxljQJybj

Hi, my name is @ashira_solomon. My public personality is about my own identity. Jewish & Black!
Hi, my name is @ashira_solomon. I have the exclusive right to tell all Jews in the world how they are allowed to identify.
@ClassicalDaz@Jonathan_K_Cook Wow what a winning argument ๐ Tbh I knew that debating a watermelon is a complete waste of time but Twitter is my pastime...
@ClassicalDaz@Jonathan_K_Cook Yeah, so? No one was expelled during these 30 years. Who said it belonged to Arabs?
Oslo accords - ur joking? Arafat endorsed terrorism while faking it with Clinton etc.
Palestinians always reject, miss opportunities and choose violence over any other path.
@GreenFrome@Jonathan_K_Cook U flipped the pretext - it's a century of terror, non comprosming violence, rejectionism, no leadership & threatening Israeli lives daily ttha forced Israel to fight wars, grab land, and spread checkpoints to try have a slightly more normal life than they coulda had w/o this shit
@ClassicalDaz@Jonathan_K_Cook Actually help Palestinians become part of civilization. So far in the past century the core issue with Arabs in Palestine was lack of leadership or one that only brought terror, corruption and despair.
@ClassicalDaz@Jonathan_K_Cook Exactly, Cook is talking about Abbas' policy. I'm talking about an actual cultural paradigm shift by the people. Palestinians hate Abbas and PLO and do not follow their supposed no resistance policy. The change needs to go bottom up n then create true leadership that can >>
@ClassicalDaz@Jonathan_K_Cook No, I referred to it in my first reply. There is constant "resistance" in the west bank, daily terror attacks and countless planned/failed terror attempts prevented preemptively. Unfortunately military presence and check points is still needed.
