@racheIaIi @cm0102plays I’m genuinely interested in why you can’t afford groceries?? I was earning just over minimum wage, working 45 hours a week whilst renting. I could afford to run a car, go out once a month and save for mortgage all whilst being able to feed myself.

@PwnProblems Have Aircon properly installed. We got it installed in our bedroom, my son’s room and the front room. Cost £2450 and is considerably cheaper to run than plug in units. But it also heats the house so much cheaper compared to using gas boilers.

@DissentFu That taught me to live on little and put a lot away as I was only giving myself £2.50 every week. I’m now 39, I own a house and a car. I don’t have GCSEs, masters, degrees etc. Never had a special, high paying job. I’ve drive buses and lorries for a living.

@DissentFu When I was younger I had to be earning mk way to get pocket money, so I had a paper round and washing cars at 13 just to get my £2.50 a week off my Dad. I wasn’t allowed to spend it all, I had to save one of them. I saved my paper round money, £12.20 every two weeks for 3 years.
