@OctopusEnergy used to have some of the best customer service. Now it’s literally one of the worst. Uninformed and rude combative agents. Waiting up to a week for email responses. Poorly trained staff, who have ZERO people skills. Been a customer for years - time for a change.

@virginmedia your online ‘help’ is a joke. First you say there’s no outage in my area - clearly there is. Not sure what the purpose of your online checker is when your phone rep tells me there is an outage in my area it’s just not saying it online. Also thanks for 40 mins on hold

@OctopusEnergy do you not care when a customer makes a refund request at the most difficult time of year financially and doesn’t receive a response within your 7 day period? Appalling treatment. I’ll be reporting the fact you’re frustrating this process to the ombudsman

Octopus social media staff seem more about coming across as ‘down to earth’ and somewhat ‘witty’ as opposed to actually answering a genuine question with a proper and informed answer. Always respond with ‘soon’ rather than specific time
@OctopusEnergy You seem to be pivoting like a politician. I emailed you on the 18th asking for an update - no response. Why? I’ve also had zero communication since I made the request. Why? Confirm when you processed this. I’m not asking for difficult information.
