@pat_kunz@LeeFortin@Bratt_world And Amazon, Temu, and whatever other online companies get goods from when buying cheap online products. I 100% agree with Lee that the slowdown in US visits has more to do with a steadily declining economy over the past decade than the one year trade war that has elbows up.
@LeeFortin And that would’ve doubled if you needed a block of cheese. It’s as if the dairy herd is in short supply like the beef herd. It’s out of control.
@rscragg@rhofford Good point, but just about every farmer saw it in real time and had a good idea of what the outcome was going to be, but they didn’t? I saw a pretty good saying, if you owe the bank 100 million you’re a debtor, you owe them a billion and you’re a business partner.
@Gina_T1@loveistheark@grok You should ask Grok even though removing the carbon tax might take time to help lower prices, how much of an impact does higher fuel prices, due to increasing industrial carbon taxes, have on inflation and current cost of living?
@ryangerritsen Didn’t you know that if you can afford to drive, then you are obviously among the most wealthy and privileged so you can afford to pay for all of the government spending.
That time of year again we’re hiring for harvest 26. Great opportunity for someone young to get off the farm for a summer and learn, and we can help them get their class 1. Season runs July to October, work in USA, AB, and Sask.

RT’s appreciated!
@LeeFortin Not a whole lot different than Alberta Farmer arrested for hauling his own grain across the border to sell independently. I’m guessing in both cases they were arrested because they were trying to make themselves more money. The milk guy likely didn’t want to pour it out.
APAS looks forward to working collaboratively with the Honourable Minister David Marit and the Ministry team on the critical files that impact farm viability, including Farmland Security and market stability.
We also sincerely thank outgoing Minister Daryl Harrison for his commitment and time spent meeting with our executive and staff. We wish him all the best.

@DavidMaritSK Hopefully your ministry continues a good working relationship with @AgProducersSK, like Mr. Harrison had. There are many issues in agriculture that will require a teamwork approach to move the needle in a positive direction. Thanks for your dedication to Ag.
@Terence75852488@therealballsy They might not have cheered for Randy, but they didn’t boo him. When you have a stadium full of paying fans booing you, as the CFL Commissioner, I would really hope that he asks himself why that’s happening.
