The advice in this tweet is absolutely on point …. from a tremendous source who has worked with the best athletes in the world. I would encourage all athletes and coaches and parents to slowly read through each of the subtweets and apply generously.
I recently saw a study that said 80% of high school baseball players end up playing college baseball within 3-4 hours of home. If this is accurate, makes you wonder if all the cross-country travel is really necessary? Thoughts?
Catch is a drill, not a "warm up." The teams that play better catch are often the teams that play cleaner baseball. Stop rushing through it. Have a purpose. Those that get "bored" during catch are those that don't understand the importance of it and aren't mentally engaged during it.
Play catch with a purpose!
Physical kids that are strong and athletic, stand out like aliens at travel ball tournaments and high school games.
The overwhelming majority of kids look allergic to the weight room, and wonder why they're not getting recruited.
They're not even on the recruitable planet because they haven't addicted themselves to strength and conditioning.
Physicality is the prerequisite before tools are even evaluated.
Not as hungry.
Not as driven.
Not as passionate.
Not as willing to sacrifice.
Not as willing to invest time.
They won’t understand you.
Because you’re what they’re not.
You're willing to pay the price, day after day, week after week, year after year.
Be willing to walk alone.
This weekend was a coming out party for Hosey⚡️
• 2026 @Braeden_Hosey is a dynamic athlete who can swing it from both sides with great feel for the barrel. Everyone in KC this weekend left with this guy’s name on their list.
Have yet to see anyone who plays the game harder🔋

Hitters; when you K, stop only thinking about strike 3. What about the fastball down the middle you took? Or the high fastball out of the zone you swung at? It’s the entire at bat, not just the last pitch. *just my 0.02$ for the day.
