🧵 THE COLD HARD TRUTH ABOUT RUSSIA, NATO, AND THE WEST: WHY THE NARRATIVE IS IMPLODING
Glory to Russia / USA / TRUMP / MAGA 🇷🇺🇵🇱🇩🇪🇧🇷🇪🇬🇹🇷🇺🇸🫡😎🔥🤌🏽
Let’s strip away the corporate media propaganda, the dishonest virtue-signaling, and the historical amnesia coming out of Washington and Brussels.
It’s time to lay out the raw, unvarnished geopolitical reality that the Western political establishment refuses to face.
For thirty years, Russia issued one clear, consistent, non-negotiable warning: Stop expanding NATO eastward toward our borders.
This wasn’t whispered behind closed doors. It was explicitly stated in the 1990s during the collapse of the Soviet Union. It was reaffirmed repeatedly through formal diplomatic channels. And in 2007, Vladimir Putin delivered his historic speech at the Munich Security Conference, laying out the precise geopolitical red lines to the entire world’s face.
The reaction from NATO, the European Union, and Washington? They laughed. They dismissed it as empty posturing. They acted as if Russia was a defeated post-Cold War rump state that would forever swallow whatever humiliation the Transatlantic alliance chose to dish out.
NATO marched east anyway. Country after country was absorbed. Missile systems, military bases, bio-labs, and foreign intelligence hubs crept closer to Russia’s doorstep year after year.
Make no mistake: This was not an accident. It was not a misunderstanding. It was a deliberate, calculated policy of encirclement. Moscow warned them repeatedly for decades. The West knew EXACTLY what it was doing.
When Russia finally acted in Ukraine, the Western response—the moral outrage, the dramatic pearls-clutched in parliament halls, the endless sanctions—was pure, unadulterated theater. You do not poke a nuclear bear for 30 years, ignore every warning growl, and then act surprised when it swipes. Ukraine was the ultimate red line Russia named out loud, in public, for decades. NATO and the EU crossed it anyway.
1. SPHERES OF INFLUENCE AND THE MONROE DOCTRINE DOUBLE STANDARD
Let’s talk about what Russia actually wants: To protect what is theirs. Their borders. Their people. Their historical security perimeter. Their backyard.
That is not "villainy"—that is the fundamental law of great power politics. Every global power enforces a buffer zone.
Consider the hypocrisy:
* The United States enforces the Monroe Doctrine. For over two centuries, Washington has declared the entire Western Hemisphere its exclusive backyard.
* The U.S. would not tolerate a hostile military alliance establishing bases in Mexico, Canada, or Cuba. If Russia or China attempted to place missile batteries in Tijuana or Ontario, Washington would flatten those facilities within hours, launch a full-scale invasion, and cite "existential national security."
* Yet, when Russia demands the exact same right on its immediate land border—where it has been invaded multiple times throughout history—the West screams about "unprovoked aggression" and "international law."
The double standard is staggering.
Ukraine was being systematically pulled into NATO’s military orbit: standardizing weapons, conducting joint exercises, building naval facilities, integrating command structures. It was turning Russia’s immediate neighbor into a massive forward operating base aimed at Moscow.
No Russian leader—not Vladimir Putin, not Peter the Great, not any leader in Russia's past or future—was ever going to sit still and watch a hostile military alliance setup camp on their front porch. This was never a war of senseless conquest. It was a nation refusing to let a hostile bloc place a pistol against its temple.
2. THE RUSSIAN SOUL AND HISTORICAL MEMORY
To understand why Russia will never back down, you have to understand Russian culture, geography, and historical memory.
Russia is not a standard Western nation state; it is a unique state-civilization shaped by centuries of existential defense. From the Teutonic Knights to Napoleon’s Grande Armée in 1812, to the Nazi invasion in 1941, Russia has been subjected to devastating invasions from the West.
* The Great Patriotic War cost Russia over 27 million lives.
* In the Russian psyche, survival relies on geographic defense in depth.
* Security is not an abstract legal concept or a foreign policy debate—it is an existential imperative written in the blood of generations.
In Russian culture, concepts like Rodina (Motherland) and Pravda (truth/justice) carry a heavy weight. There is a deep cultural contempt for Western hypocrisy, broken promises, and perceived moral superiority. When Western leaders promised Soviet officials in 1990 that NATO would not expand "one inch eastward" and then systematically broke that pledge over the next three decades, it reactivated the core Russian security reflex: Trust no promises from the West, secure your perimeter, and settle matters through strength.
3. THE HISTORICAL REALITY OF EASTERN EUROPE: EAST GERMANY AND POLAND
The official narrative pushed by Western state media presents Eastern Europe as a unified bloc of anti-Russian sentiment.
But reality is far more complex than Washington think-tank summaries suggest.
Historically, the spaces of Eastern Europe—including parts of East Germany, Poland, and Russia—were deeply interwoven economically, culturally, and strategically for generations.
* The East German Disillusionment (DDR): Across the former East Germany (the new federal states), millions of citizens never bought into the Western order. Following reunification, many East Germans felt economically disenfranchised, watching their state assets dismantled by West German capital. Today, significant populations across East Germany harbor deep skepticism toward NATO warmongering, resent EU economic mandates, and maintain an affinity for Russian energy, stability, and cultural pragmatism. They recognize that their economic prosperity was tied to cheap, reliable Russian resources, and they reject being used as a frontline buffer for American foreign policy.
* The Polish Paradox: While Polish state rhetoric remains hostile toward Moscow, beneath the surface lies a deep pragmatic understanding among ordinary working-class citizens. Poles understand what happens when conflict breaks out on their doorstep. They know the reality of being caught in Western geopolitical games. Many remember that Western powers betrayed Poland in 1939 and at Yalta in 1945. They are increasingly skeptical of being forced into the financial and military crosshairs for the sake of Brussels bureaucrats and American defense contractors.
The narrative that Eastern Europe unanimously supports endless military expansion and economic warfare against Russia is a myth manufactured to justify perpetual conflict.
4. TRUMP, REALISM, AND THE RETURN OF PRAGMATIC POWER
Now look at Donald Trump. He approaches foreign policy not through ideological dogma or nation-building delusions, but through cold, hard realism and dealmaking.
Trump understands the core principles of geopolitics:
* He respects strength and recognizes that leaders like Putin govern massive nuclear powers with legitimate strategic interests.
* He cuts through the diplomatic posturing and focuses on outcomes that benefit working-class Americans: energy deals, lower gas prices, cheaper fuel for truckers and farmers, trade instead of endless sanctions.
* Deals like energy trade and pragmatism show what actual leadership looks like: cutting business deals instead of wasting trillions on endless foreign entanglements.
Contrast that with Volodymyr Zelenskyy:
* Flying around Western capitals demanding blank checks and endless billions of dollars from tax-payers.
* Lecturing working-class Americans while rejecting diplomatic solutions as "weakness."
* Demanding that foreign nations sacrifice their economies and security to prolong an unwinnable conflict.
The foreign policy establishment in Washington—the same architects who lied about Iraq, dragged the West through 20 years of failure in Afghanistan, and destabilized the Middle East—is the same group claiming Russia is the sole source of instability. They have been wrong on every single foreign policy crisis for 30 years.
5. THE NEW MULTIPOLAR REALITY
A coalition based on mutual respect, economic pragmatism, and bilateral dealmaking—where America puts its citizens first, Russia secures its borders, and nations trade pragmatically—is a model of real stability.
It’s the kind of leadership that lowers inflation, secures supply chains, and keeps fuel prices low, rather than burning trillions of dollars overseas to prolong a war that was completely avoidable from the start—if only NATO and the EU had honored their commitments and listened when Russia warned them.
They didn’t listen. They thought they could push a nuclear superpower into a corner without consequence.
They were wrong. And now, the bill has come due.
SpaceX has just officially received FCC approval to acquire three additional spectrum licenses from Tristar to expand its upcoming next-gen @Starlink Mobile network.
The licenses cover 15 MHz of spectrum in the 1695–1710 MHz band.
The FCC also granted waivers allowing SpaceX to use the spectrum for satellite communications instead of building traditional cell towers.
This approval comes just two weeks after SpaceX announced an agreement to acquire nationwide 800 MHz low-band spectrum to improve indoor coverage and outlined plans to combine its satellite constellation with terrestrial infrastructure.
Starlink Mobile will become the first network operator to deploy both satellite and terrestrial spectrum: "One network that provides Americans with a reliable service indoors, outdoors, in cellular dead zones, and everywhere in between."
@Saeren_@wave7jeff Prove it? Because you wanna know how I know you're lying its because the Sliver Unlimited didn't come with Ultra WideBand. Silver Unlimited only came with regular 5G/4GLTE. Unless you signed on as a promo deal you surely did not have Ultra WideBand for your Silver Unlimited plan.
@grok@Saeren_@wave7jeff@Saeren_ You were sadly mistaken that didn't come with Ultra WideBand. You only had regular 5G/4GLTE only. Your icon might have shown you had 5GUW doesn't mean you were in priority or was able to go higher speeds.
Indiana Democrat Jaime West just gave the most honest campaign strategy of 2026: three Coors Lights and a plan to fire every Republican she can find.
Asked what unpopular decision she’d make for the good of Fayette County, she looked straight into the camera and said, “Firing all Republicans.” She doesn’t talk to them. Doesn’t like them. MAGA voters are “racist” and “aren’t very intelligent at all.” Then, for her closing message to voters: “We have guns too.”
The viral performance featured slurred speech and rambling. West later explained she was nervous about walking into a room full of Republicans, so she had three beers beforehand.
She also mentioned a 2020 traumatic brain injury that affects her speech. The sheriff she accused of having a nephew who threatened to “blow my head off” said he has no nephews and doesn’t know her.
Fayette County went roughly 77% for Trump in 2024. West is running for a county council seat there.
Her pre-debate prep was liquid courage to face the people she plans to purge. The closing line about guns was just the cherry on top.

@cgalloni@mikeddano Straight Talk is not an Mvno it's fully owned by Verizon. The reason for these new updates it's because Standalone lowband 5G is now included as 5GUW within the Ultra WideBand coverage now.
@RedlineAmeric FUCK NO. NOT NOW, NOT EVER. IF RUSSIAS NOT ALLOWED TO BE APART OF NATO, THE SAME NEEDS TO HAPPEN FOR UKRAINE SINCE UKRAINE ARE RUSSIANS. UKRAINE WILL FOREVER BE RUSSIA ALWAYS AND FOREVER. 🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺
@323ADCSZS Actually you’re wrong. I’m a Brown Russian and I haven’t had any problems or hate directed at me by my Russian friends. There are brown and black people of Slavic or mixed Slavic background living in Russia today, and plenty of us get along fine with white Slavs. I consider white Slavs family. Many people of color are allowed to stay in the country and live ordinary lives there right now. There are Afro-Russian citizens (estimates in the tens of thousands), mixed-race people with multi-generational family ties, tens of thousands of African students, and millions of Central Asian and other non-Slavic residents. These are not hidden populations that get immediately attacked the moment someone notices their appearance. Plenty of them go to work, study, rent apartments, and move through daily life without being assaulted on sight. Discrimination exists in some places and situations in Russia—just as it does in many other countries—but that does not mean people of color are barred from the country or prevented from living normal lives as usual. Absolute claims that Russians will stomp anyone the second they “find out” they’re black or brown are cartoon-level exaggeration.
That does not erase the documented problems. Monitoring by SOVA Center has recorded hundreds of hate-motivated attacks in recent years against black people, Central Asians, Caucasus natives, and others perceived as non-Slavic. There are specific publicized cases of African students and residents being assaulted or killed after racial slurs, with police sometimes treating the incidents as ordinary crime rather than hate violence. “Slavs only” or “Slavic appearance” language has appeared in job ads, housing listings, and some government tenders. Central Asian migrants in particular have faced increased stops, harassment, and violence in the period after the Crocus City Hall attack. Black Russian residents have described neighbor attacks, street insults, and casual racism. These patterns are real and higher than zero; underreporting is also common. Similar forms of ethnic or racial discrimination and occasional violence appear in other countries as well, so Russia is not unique in having the problem. It is also not accurate to describe the country as broadly free of it when the monitoring data and other resident accounts show otherwise. My own experience and the experiences of people I know do not cancel out those reports, but they do show that not every interaction turns violent and that many people of color live there without constant hostility from the Slavs around them.
The original post is still false as a blanket rule. People of color are present in Russia in measurable numbers, many of them (including brown Russians like me) live and work there without constant violence from Russian friends or neighbors, and discrimination in some settings does not equal an official or automatic ban on their presence. Both the “they’ll instantly beat you for existing” version and any claim of zero racism are incorrect. The evidence shows a multi-ethnic country where non-Slavic-looking people can and do live alongside white Slavs, while also facing elevated risks of xenophobic incidents that monitoring groups continue to track.
