Day 5 of Field Week! We went to Mount Batten on a well rainy day to find trends in #gastropod diversity in relation to shore height and rock pool size. We also found some amazing starfish, gobies and crabs. Great day to end the field week! #plymbio

Day 4! We spent time at the Marine Station discussing benthic species as well as observing and identifying them. Later going out to the breakwater on #Wavedancer to conduct a beam trawl to collect our own set of epibenthic species. Look at the cute #Sepiola #atlantica!

Day 3 of MBO field week! Today we stayed at the Marine Station and observed #ROV footage of #benthic organisms near Eddystone Lighthouse. Each pair observed 2 still images and identified the species seen. We identified some organisms such as the #Echinus #estulentus! #plymbio
