NEW: Blistering statement from players' union FIFPro talks of "profound abuse of presidential power" + that Infantino's latest statement "merely confirms the problem".

This is my favorite stunlock Hasan has ever done. @hasanthehun: "It does not matter how other people's attitudes are towards you; I will always be open-minded, I will always be understanding. I do not care. There's always an opportunity for redemption. No one is fucking perfect. I always repeat this but I think it's an important message to repeat because I think it's one of the worst elements of the broader left. What matters is who you become. Your experiences are YOUR experiences; we are all imperfect vessels. To be imperfect is to be human. I'll never abandon you. I'll never cast you aside. I'll never reject you."
Today, Gaza buried 112 members of two families — Al-Hasayneh and Abu Sharia — whose remains were pulled from the rubble of homes destroyed earlier by Israeli airstrikes. The funeral came during one of the deadliest stretches of Israeli bombardment in recent days, proof that the #GazaGenocide has not ended despite ceasefire and deal announcements. Israel’s plan has not changed since 1948: the mass expulsion of Palestinians and the complete ethnic cleansing of Palestine.
Just putting it out there as a travel option for people heading to Belfast for the Fleadh (as I don't think there's enough awareness). There are 3 park & rides, priced at £10 per vehicle, with free shuttle buses running. https://t.co/g2LeIzeQVF

Excellent point!Myself and others have said this for years, more pedestrianisation and less stringent licencing laws means we could have this year round, on a smaller scale or course. I'm looking at you Christmas Market!Have pushed for years to get this all over the city centre!

It is within the Prime Ministers power to scrap this proscription and end these dystopian scenes for good.
There is simply no excuse in a democracy for a crackdown in support for protest groups like this.
NEW: Sir Jonathon Porritt, arrested under Terrorism law outside Westminster Magistrates Court.
As police escorted him away he said "I am a supporter of Palestine Action, trying to save lives is not terrorism, exposing this Governments complicity in genocide is not terrorism."
A Belfast city centre parish has transformed a long-vacant Berry Street building into a new community café.
St Mary's Parish this week opened The Foggy Brew, a not-for-profit venture that will help fund local outreach initiatives.
Father Timothy Bartlett explains how the café sells products including Palestine Cola, contributing to the work of the combined parishes of west Belfast and to support church partnerships in the West Bank and Gaza.
