@ElizabethGMat@bethanyshondark@MattWalshBlog Thank you for this validation. My first baby is almost 11 months. Some things are easier than newborn, but he is always trying to throw his head into something, and sleep is still lousy.
@xwanyex@garybasin@cryptochamomile It could also be dicipline, which (barring obvious abuse) might get reframed as necessary and totally understandable because I was a little terrorist (sorry dad!)
@IterIntellectus Great read. Reminded me of my own journey 9 months ago. We arrived at a lot of the same conclusions.
The only thing I couldn’t figure out was my extreme aversion to meat.
Highly recommend Vax Facts by Dr. Paul Thomas for your continued parent journey.
@RizomaSchool He’s done well at grandma’s for 3 hours. But grandma is different, and we all hang out there together sometimes. I think your guideline sounds correct for daycare.
@drpezeshkian It really comes down to this:
“Is it not evident that Israel now aims to fight Iran to the last American soldier and the last American taxpayer dollar — shifting its burden of delusions on Iran and the United States?” The rest is whatever.
@RACS2010@LouiseCulmer1@revenant_MMXX Daycare isn’t your whole paycheck. It’s roughly $300–$350/week vs ~$1,100–$1,200 median weekly pay or ~25–30% of one income. Still expensive, but let’s be accurate. I’m a SAHM and we should incentivize that, but it absolutely comes with a financial tradeoff.
