@teblei@LeadingReport I’m not arguing to raise the minimum wage. I’m saying the problem is the cost of living. Make housing, food, energy, insurance and healthcare more affordable so people’s current wages actually go further. Raising wages just to chase rising prices isn’t the only solution.
@klg1961@LeadingReport I was six months unemployed and making two grand a month. I couldn’t find any other work and crap jobs pay less than my unemployment. It wasn’t because I was lazy, it’s because there was no alternative. I’m sure others think the same.
