@TheRickWilson 2028 Dem Primary candidates should commit to tearing this down and restoring the White House. Doesn't matter how much it costs to build or sunk cost fallacy.
This stunning imagery from @NOAA's #GOESWest 🛰️ yesterday shows the explosive growth of California's #ParkFire, which has now burned more than 164,000 acres. Included are some photos of the massive #wildfire as seen from the ground nearby.
This week, we are getting #ReadyToGOES by exploring how the #GOESU satellite will provide critical atmospheric weather and ocean observations for the Western Hemisphere. One example is helping forecasters better predict #hurricane behavior.

@GreatestTrek The “Shuttlepod One” square — Ben and Adam have to record an episode from the car while driving. It helps if they’re also cold and starving.
For what it's Earth...
This #EarthDay, take a look at some of the solutions we've developed for environmental protection, it all starts with the data!
Meteorologists need to better detect and predict weather events. This is where our AI and machine learning come into play.
Happy #FullDiskFriday and #FlashbackFriday!
Remember the #TotalEclipse we experienced on Monday? 😉
Here’s 6-hour imagery captured by @NOAA's #GOESEast 🛰️ on April 8 of the moon's shadow traveling over the Pacific and North America. An amazing sight to see on the ground and from orbit!
#GOESU is getting ready to rocket roll later this spring! 🚀
But before launch, we had to get the satellite from our facility in Colorado to its launch site in Florida. Have you ever wondered how we ship a spacecraft? 🤔
The OSIRIS-REx SRC may have come in hot, about 5,000°F hot, but we think the spacecraft designed, built and flown by us is cool, and so does Colorado!
OSIRIS-REx has been nominated for the Coolest Thing Made in Colorado! Vote daily until the poll closes on Oct. 1.
Another bubble burst in the books! 💨🎈💥
We successfully conducted another burst test of our expandable inflatable habitat, reaching 253 psi, validating the results of our previous burst test last December.
Do not adjust your screens, this is Earth, not Mars. Underscores the need for faster detection and suppression of wildfires, a major priority for @LockheedMartin and its partners as we advance Firefighting Intelligence: https://t.co/g4qAZfPcRO
Check out this almost unbelievable time-lapse of wildfire smoke consuming the World Trade Center and the New York City skyline.
Those vulnerable to poor air quality, including seniors and young children, should limit time outdoors if possible.

@seanferrick So many eps to choose from, but what’s stuck with me lately is a more recent moment: as Seven and Jack are playing “Name the Starship” at the Fleet Museum, and Seven pulls up Voyager, the *way* she describes what it meant to her, and how that crew was her family… 😭 every time
#DYK, only 5% of the Moon’s surface has been explored by the human race? To reach the other 95%, the @NASAArtemis astronauts are going to need some serious wheels.
Check out our design concepts with @GM to further expand space exploration.
.@NOAA's #GOES18 satellite, which launched on March 1, 2022, has officially entered service as the new #GOESWest!
In this capacity, the satellite will monitor the western contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico, and Central America.
