During the 1st annual Leggingspalooza last April, @HamCoLove collected 80 pairs of leggings. My goal is to raise $150 to be able purchase at least 20 pairs ($7 per pair) to help them surpass this number! Can you help? ⬇️
@HamCoLove#undiestock is currently underway. If you would like to donate packages of underwear, @fishersagent is a drop off location. See 🧵 on ways you can help!
Did you know there is a tampon shortage? Tampons are currently harder to find and more expensive.
It’s a good reminder that sustainable products like cloth pads, menstrual cups, and period underwear help people not have to use as many pads and tampons.
We’re just under 60,000 products collected since Jan. 2021. (For reference we had 25k in all of 2022). 🎉
If you would like to send us a pack of pads to help us cross this milestone and move toward the next one, our registries are all here: https://t.co/ryTK7gaKEC 💜
We get these questions a lot and want to provide some details/clarification.
Who are you? We are HamCo Love, a nonprofit from Fishers that serves all of Hamilton County since 1/2021.

My math *was* off - I wasn’t including a column of products we had purchased with monetary donations…. That puts us at 41,490. We CROSSED 40k today thanks to the help from the HSE clubs in our earlier tweet. 41,490!!!!!
According to a U by Kotex survey, only 4% were aware of a local resource where free or low cost period supplies are available. Menstrual products are not covered by public health/nutritional benefits programs, nor made uniformly available in schools/workplaces. #endperiodpoverty
