"Oh my goodness. One of the worst trades in a long while by the Mets" – Keith Hernandez sounds distraught as he watches Pete Crow-Armstrong round the bases
The whole run-prevention thing has become a form of satire around the Mets after 6 errors tonight, and it falls on Stearns. Nevertheless this was the kind of game, w/season spiraling out of control, that gets a mgr fired, and Mendoza looks and sounds numb to it all at this point.
Mets have been dead since May 1, and there are still fans on here saying that this spineless, unmotivated collection of losers (minus Soto) that is 8 games under .500 has a chance to make a run lol
@Traxxx46@TJStats I actually respect that answer a lot. I think a lot of people get upset because not participating FEELS more like open hate rather than expression of free speech. I’m torn with “no politics in baseball” because I don’t think it’s a political item, I feel it’s a human right issue.
@Traxxx46@TJStats Steve, growing up…you were actually one of my favorite pitchers. Showed a lot of grit during an era of cheaters. I also happen to be a gay male. Question for you, do you disagree that I deserve to be recognized and treated the same as you do?
@JustinCLeto I do like your point at trying to take a flyer on an extension conversation with Holmes. Doubt he will though. This wasn’t a soft tissue injury or muscle injury that has question marks around recovery.
