@RMcIntoshMusic@JohnHCochrane What did you mean here? Government is not ignored. There is the government consumption (G) (which is not equal to public wages) and there is also a part for government investment.
@Username2024X@RafaelPaschoare Despesa adiada = dinheiro que vc nao gasta hoje e (1) pode deixar investido (e receber juros) ou (2) nao pegar emprestado (e nao pagar juros)
@dawallach@CliffordAsness There is the claim to tax you today and in the future and no one else is entitled to holding such a claim, but that's a stretch on the definition (and not true everywhere)
@GJobbing41782@JohnHCochrane The normative point is beside the point. The point is that the entitlement to being taken care of is wealth in a very obvious sense and should be considered, not obfuscated
@senaroai@NickTimiraos I am not sure your numbers are correct, but one must also consider that homes have longer duration than the loan and become cheaper with that move. @HannoLustig even claims they become more affordable: https://t.co/z4O0awbHG7
@DrJohnWilkey1@JesusFerna7026 What is the point of saving for retirement if you never withdraw from it? You need income to live (even if it comes from your future heirs)
@svpwycherley@arpitrage I agree. @arpitrage's analysis is very far from a regime change. A systematic transition between states is not a regime change. In this context, a regime change would be changing the transition matrix itself.
@oinjusticeiro1 Minha impressão é diferente. Não tem tantos cargos no Executivo pra top tiers com trânsito político. Ele era top tier, mas ficava num cargo cosmético por causa disso.
@tjrwriting@guido_lorenzoni@dandolfa The supplier's deposit in bank D was just a liability bank D had against supplier C. When C exchange that liability for an asset, their relation is over. All that's left from D side is a loan to the first bank and $100 less in bonds. D won't have a liability against himself.
