UNRAVELLING THE LITTLE PUZZLE AT KISOZI RANCH

In my advertising days, we used to say: data alone doesn’t win pitches - delivery does.

I have sat in high-stakes pitches trying to renew a renowned telecoms retainer. We came armed with average rates per users (ARPU)s, projections, market share graphs that looked like ECG monitors. But numbers alone don’t move a client. The first minutes do. Confidence does. Clarity does. Packaging does. We won that renewal not only because we had facts and were tried and tested - but because we knew how to present the ask.

Fast forward to #JazzWithJajja2 at @KagutaMuseveni Kisozi Ranch in Gomba.

The youth came correct. Sharp questions. Direct money asks. Follow-up meetings at @StateHouseUg scheduled. The President responded. Engagement happened. #Bazzukulu showed up.

But somewhere between the long-horned cattle and long-term prosperity lectures, one “Little Puzzle” quietly solved something bigger.

In a session where theatrics could easily graze in the kraal, this young musician stepped forward with poise. He didn’t shout. He didn’t overcook it. He understood the room. He addressed the Fountain of Honor with respect. He acknowledged the First Lady @JanetMuseveni. He came prepared - with letters, with proof, with witnesses in the media who could corroborate his journey.

@PublicityNatete , whom I had earlier crowned the people’s disruptor, froze at his big moment. Confidence dude, confidence! He took the comedy to the cows when he could have laid out his case plainly.

Lil Pazo didn’t freeze.

He unraveled his puzzle in four minutes.

Life is exactly that - a puzzle. For Uganda’s youth facing unemployment, fragmented opportunities, scattered SACCOs, half-understood PDM guidelines, Emyooga whispers - it can feel like someone poured the pieces on the floor and walked away.

But puzzles reward patience and positioning.

Lil Pazo’s ask was direct but warm. Ambitious but respectful. He essentially said: “Mr. President, you know the big names. Now know me. I have done the work. Here is my case.”

That is how you pitch.

That is how you unlock doors.

Beyond the humor and headlines, his presentation carried a serious undertone: get organized, get engaged, understand the systems, access the funds, mobilize your community.

Uganda has wealth. That much is repeated like a chorus. The real puzzle is unlocking it - intentionally.

Lil Pazo may sound like “Little Puzzle,” but at Kisozi, he wasn’t little. He stood out.

He showed that when your 30 seconds come - you don’t perform theatrics, you lay it out.

You present.

And sometimes, that’s how prosperity begins. His has probably begun. #Uganda

Let the regime know that we're watching every step and abandon these criminal schemes. Some of these security operatives, driven by patriotism, have demonstrated to us how the entire operation is intended to run. We recently wrote to Byabakama about the need to comply with the law to the letter, including pinning a copy of the DR form at every polling station immediately after counting the votes, and ensuring that we are supplied an electronic copy of the DR Forms, Tally-sheets and the Return forms from every District immediately after tallying.

Fold the ballot and place it in the ballot box.
After voting, stay at least 20 meters away from the polling station in order to protect your vote!

WHERE:

Every registered voter is assigned a polling station by the Uganda Electoral Commission based on your home or residence location.
On election day, you go to that station to cast your vote for Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu.
