@bay_snark@Caltrain The two traction power facilities will be located in San Jose and South San Francisco. As long as one of them has power, electric trains will be able to move. In the unlikely event that they’re both affected by a blackout, we put our remaining diesel locomotives to work.
@Reelkreyz@Caltrain Because the cost of installing it now would be too high, considering the new electric fleet is coming in 2022. Good news, those trains will offer customer facing Wi-Fi.
