The Intel 4002 is a 320-bit static RAM with a built-in 4-bit output port, designed as part of Intel’s pioneering MCS-4 family for the 4004 CPU. Introduced in 1971, it uses p-channel silicon-gate PMOS and supports up to four banks in a full 4004 system for 5,120 bits total.
