My attempt to protect users from scam apps on the @AppStore has gotten my Apple Developer account flagged for termination - ironically, for "dishonest activity".
Unless it's reversed by June 30, all new installs of Sparrow Wallet will fail, and development on macOS will end.
The context: since 2023, more than a dozen fake "Sparrow" apps have appeared on the App Store, as recently as April this year. Users have contacted me after losing their savings, in some cases their life savings, to these impersonators.
I'm the developer of the real Sparrow Wallet, a desktop app, and I hold the registered US trademarks for the name and logo. I have publicly warned @Apple and the community about these fake apps from early 2024, but they keep appearing.
The app @Apple flagged was a placeholder that was never published. Its only purpose was to warn users that Sparrow is desktop-only and that other "Sparrow" apps aren't mine. This approach may have been misguided, but there was nothing dishonest about it.
I'm confident this is an automated misclassification that Apple would reverse on review - but I may be terminated before a human ever looks at my appeal. The cost would fall on @Apple's own users: blocked installs and no updates for a tool people rely on, which opens the door for more fakes.
If you value Sparrow, a repost would help. @AppleSupport
🚨 What is really happening with UK bonds - video🚨
The Approved Narrative about the UK’s serious bond problems never mentions the fact that the Bank of England has been depressing yields (buying bonds) to levels well below market rates with newly printed money for years. As soon as they stopped doing this in Jan 2022 and switched to selling bonds, yields obviously shot up. This is like pushing down on a spring and then releasing it. In addition, the UK’s fiscal position has declined for years, with £ 1 TRILLION of government debt being added over past seven years. This is especially the case as a result of Uniparty approved lockdowns (Reset and de-growth plans). The obsession over party politics and the identity of particular individual puppets is designed (in my view) to distract the public from what is really happening, namely the deliberate debasement of the currency and gigantic wealth transfers to vested banking interests.
In the process of money printing the Bank of England has lost around £ 150 billion (about £ 5.4 thousand per household or 2.5x the entire defence budget). Pretty well all of that money has ended up with vested banking interests either as gigantic trading profits (The Bank of England bought high and sold low) or as massive interest income for high street banks. We the Taxpayer fund this bonanza for the banking industry. By a complete coincidence the “independent” board members of the Bank of England are drawn primarily from the banking industry. If you want to discuss the investment implications and especially understanding your exposure to government debt via collective pension schemes, please drop me e-mail [email protected]. [n.b. this is not investment advice].
@bryan_johnson Perhaps move from an obsessive lifestyle to a more relaxed one. Let Go. Stress to relaxation and then take your readings. Make it part of your experiment if you like.
@NickHudsonCT Scott framed us as 'anti-vaxxers' which implied ignorance & science denial. Saying that we were lucky due to our distrust in government was also deliberately disingenuous. Reality is that most of us did the research and used critical thinking skills, then it was obvious.
@CharlotteEmmaUK@beverleyturner Idealistic and disingenuous, an insipid prodigy of Blair.
'It's not mandatory', but don't expect to be able to do anything unless you're in the system.
