The Ubuntu team at Canonical appears to be doing everything they can to force the broken Rust Coreutils clones (known as “uutils”) onto your Ubuntu installation… even if you try to keep using the (working, well tested, non-Rust) GNU Coreutils.

Ubuntu has created a Rust “Coreutils” clone package which, when you do an upgrade, “will pull in coreutils-from-uutils”.

Want to revert back to the GNU (non-Rust) Coreutils? You can do that (temporarily) by jumping through some hoops…

But Ubuntu has laid traps to re-install the untested Rust clones whenever you install or update some regularly installed packages, such as “build-essential”.

According to the change notes which added this trap, the purpose was explicitly “forcing builds to use the uutils [Rust clone] variant.”

In other words, if you use Ubuntu:

You’ll use untested Rust code, and you’ll be happy.

Henry would then pass out and die.

This is heartbreaking. The legal system hates White people and prioritises everyone else, even in the face of death.

Ça, c'est la main d'Henry Nowark, 18 ans. Pendant qu'il se vide son sang, la police le menotte parce que son assassin (un Sikh), a dit avoir entendu des propos racistes. Il a reçu plusieurs coups de couteau (4) et il est mort sans aide et avec les bras attachés dans le dos. Il faut savoir que cette position rend la respiration encore plus difficile.

La police tente de relativiser en disant que ses blessures étaient de toute manière mortelles. Mais, TOUTES les blessures au couteau sont mortelles si la personne est attachée et laissée se vider de son sang. Il est mort 67 minutes après l'attaque.

Le Royaume-Uni est effrayant. La suspicion de racisme est plus grave qu'un assassinat. Les flics sont de véritables drones sous forme humaine. Pour trouver un degré de bêtise de ce niveau, il faut aller dans le règne animal chez les poules et bêtes similaires. Ils ont trop de pouvoir et pas assez de neurones fonctionnels. Ceci les rend capable des pires atrocités tout en cachant derrière : je ne fais que mon travail. Ils suivent les idéologies du moment avec un zèle qui ne s'arrête même pas devant la mort.

Henry Nowak was unresponsive, presumably dead, as police read him his rights after false allegations of racism from his murderer.

They cuffed him, and dragged him, as he drowned in his own blood, desperately telling them he had been stabbed and couldn’t breathe.

This is 1000x worse than George Floyd.

The Henry Novak body cam footage is pure nightmare fuel.

Watch it. A dying boy, cuffed, dragged around, bleeding out in the gravel, gasps that he’s been stabbed. And what do the cops do? They immediately treat him like the criminal. More worried about a brown man crying “racism” than a young White guy fighting for his last breaths.

This could be your brother. Your son. Your best friend. The system doesn’t just fail White people, it despises us. Never forget Henry Novak, and ever forgive this.
