Farmers often have up to 60yr old machines because they may not need every machine all the time but they sure are handy. Harvest, seeding and spraying are seasonal.

It all runs on diesel, do we just start over?

If you count grain trucks and old Bedfords and Whites on farms make that 60yrs.

That will not be true for EVs.

Might be practicable for some uses pulling light large, unrefrigerated loads from A to B in an urban area where it is certain to be back at the yard every day.
